I think that we should take a moment to feel blessed and awe struck.
1. God made each of us, men and women, with a purpose and a special role to play in this world.
2. The Lord wants to have a relationship with each of us and to spend our lives working with Him.
3. We were made for eternity.

I'd like to share my story with you. I was an only child, raised in a home with divorced parents and an alcoholic father. Jesus was not a part of my home, and was even scoffed at by my father. Throughout my younger years though I felt not only confused and stressed by my home situation, but also that there was something more and that I was to not follow in the footsteps of my father and a long list of family members before him. When I was a teenager I began to learn about the Bible with some friends at school. I attended a church and eventually a friend prayed with me to ask God to forgive and help me start over and that is what He did. Instead of falling into a life of alcoholism among other troubles, the Lord saved me from that. I went to college and got a bachelor's and master's degree in music. I have two children, when the docotors said I may not ever have one. My kids have a safe home where they feel no fear and are able to thrive without quarrel. Through Jesus Christ I have an inner peace that is found no where else and I can meet any struggle head on and know that the Lord is with me now and forever.

Haven't posted for a while. I just wanted to share with you that if you look you can see God in everything. He's in the light in the eye of a child. He's in the changing of the leaves for the fall. He's in the night's sky and the rising sun. He is in the little details of life and He is in you.

Deuteronomy 4:29
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

The Lord has been teaching me this past week about money and communication. I have learned how important it is to be upfront and honest about this subject with those close to you and how unimportant the material desires of the world are and how all our wants are in fact not always needs. I have always believed this to be true but it is amazing how little things can slowly sneak into our lives and our budgets and start to create chaos. I challenge you to look at your life and see that the Lord has provided what you need. Are those things that you can't afford or really want needs? Are you hiding your fears or concerns from a loved one? Let go and let the Lord help right this situation.

If you do not know Jesus Christ let me encourage you to check out this link.
